Q. What are Compatible Cartridges?
A: Compatible Cartridges describe a similar product to the original used to fulfill the same purpose, For example, a customer may not use HP paper in HP printers. The customer instead uses a product from a compatible manufacturer that works just as well.
Q. What does OEM stand for?
A: OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. OEMs such as HP, Brother, Lexmark, Konica Minolta and Toshiba are the companies that produce your machine, as well as the toner or drum cartridge used.
Q: How do I know how long my toner or drum cartridge will last?
A: The "Yield" gives an average number of pages per cartridge ("page" defined as a business letter). Note: Photos, charts, and graphics use much more ink than letters. Also, High Yield" cartridges cost more up front, but typically last longer and are less expensive in the long term.
Q: Will my machine warranty be voided if I use compatible cartridges?
A: Generally, No. The manufacturer should not require you to use their brand-name cartridge. In most cases, You can use any brand and still keep your warranty intact. Either way, we cover you! | |
